The Solution 💡

Previous Diablo games were based on content replayablity, making them repetitive and tedious over time. How could we make this game seem appealing to Gen Z?

Create an integrated travel campaign to make Diablo IV (a horrific video game) seem like a fun vacation getaway, with a focus on the immersive storyline to make it feel all the more real.

Case Study Video

Travel Posters

We decided to create posters that were heavily inspired by vintage travel posters. Each poster represents a different region in Diablo IV (The Sanctuary). Each poster features an interesting headline with a twisting caption about that region.

Commercial

A travel tv spot that has the narration of a luxurious travel getaway while showing the graphical gruesome parts of  Diablo IV, making the narration ironic.

Escalator Takeover

The escalator at Grand Central Madison will be taken over by Diablo IV. Commuters will get to "descend into the pits of hell" and will be able to receive a travel kit at the bottom.
